Commerzbank: expected to lose 1.7m customers by 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank's management expects to lose 1.
7 million customers by 2024, says Welt am Sonntag. This is from its current base of around 11 million private and corporate customers.

The bank also expects to lose around 300 million euros in revenue by 2024 as a result of its restructuring plan.

This loss is expected to be offset by growth in credit and increased business with corporate customers, as well as with wealthy private customers, Welt am Sonntag says. The bank also wants to attract new customers.

The share is currently down over 1.5% in Frankfurt.
