Bayer: invests in Boundless Bio

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer announces that its investment arm Leaps by Bayer has co-led, with RA Capital Management, a $100m financing for Boundless Bio, a next-generation precision oncology company in clinical phase.


Boundless Bio will use the funding to advance its investigational therapy BBI-355, which is currently in an ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical trial in patients with oncogene amplified cancers.

In addition to the German healthcare group and RA Capital Management, this round of financing includes additional new investors, such as Sectoral Asset Management and Piper Heartland Healthcare Capital.
