Bayer: to donate common drugs and vitamins to Americans

(CercleFinance.com) - In the midst of the corona epidemic, Bayer plans to donate one million over-the-counter medications and multivitamins to Americans in need of them, the German drugmaker said on Tuesday.


Working with non-profit organizations, Bayer will donate products such as aspirin, cold and flu symptom and cough relief products, as well as allergy products, it said.

As part of its sustainability strategy, Bayer has committed itself to expanding access to health for 100 million people in underserved communities around the world by 2030.

On Monday Bayer also announced that Nubeqa has received EU approval as a new treatment for men with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
