Bayer: creates joint venture with Arvinas

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer announces that it has completed an agreement with Arvinas, a company that develops drugs based on targeted protein degradation, to launch a new company called Oerth Bio, which will be headed by John Dombrosky.


Oerth Bio will be supported by intellectual property and a funding commitment of over 55 million dollars from Bayer, as well as by Arvinas' technology and intellectual property.

Both partners will equally share the joint venture's governance and capital. Oerth Biose will have a team of scientists, enabling it to operate as an "independent and sustainable organization".
