BASF: UBS maintains buy rating, raising target price

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS has reaffirmed its "buy" rating on the BASF share, having increased its corresponding target price from 75 euros to 78 euros, representing upside potential of 8% for the German chemicals giant's share price, ahead of its investor meeting next week.


From this viewpoint, the broker says that it is raising its operating profit (EBIT) estimate for 2021 to 7% above the consensus and anticipates EBIT to exceed the consensus by 15% in Q1 2021.
