Allianz: signs partnership for London student housing

(CercleFinance.com) - German insurer Allianz is teaming up with US real estate company Greystar to deal with the shortage of student accommodation in London, the companies said on Friday.


Allianz is taking an interest in Greystar's Chapter, aiming at providing 10,000 student beds and doubling the size of Chapter's portfolio within the next five years.

Chapter currently has 5,100 student beds in central London.

While London is considered as the best city in the world by university students, its housing market and student living conditions have been under enormous pressure in recent years.
