Volkswagen: e-mobility unites Traton and Hino Motors

(CercleFinance.com) - Traton, a Volkswagen subsidiary, and Hino Motors have signed a joint venture agreement to develop e-mobility, i.
e. electric mobility.

Both companies will thus combine their forces to develop electric vehicles, battery or fuel cell powered, two technologies "that will be necessary in the future", the companies said.

Matthias Gründler, CEO of Traton, took the opportunity to state his company's aim: i.e. invest one billion euros in electrification by 2025.
