Volkswagen: VW brand posts record sales for 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen said it sold a record 6.
23 million vehicles of its brand last year, up 4.2% relative to the previous year, thanks again to higher demand in China. Over 3 million vehicles were delivered in China, which is now the brand's largest market, up 5.9% compared with 2016. The Volkswagen brand - which belongs to the VW Group, along with Audi, Seat and Skoda - also set a new delivery record for December, providing 594,100 vehicles (+5.6%) to customers worldwide.
