thyssenkrupp: to build new elevator headquarters in Atlanta

(CercleFinance.com) - thyssenkrupp Elevator is building new headquarters for North America, which will feature a 128-meter-tall elevator test tower, the tallest of its kind in the US, the company said on Friday.


The complex - which will house over 900 full-time employees and will include three facilities upon completion - will be located near the Atlanta Braves baseball stadium, the German industrial group said.

The new facility will be a laboratory for futuristic technologies such as rope-less elevators, it said. It is set to be completed by 2022.
