Wirecard: to collaborate with US telecom giant Sprint

(CercleFinance.com) - German payments company Wirecard said that US wireless carrier Sprint is integrating its commerce solutions into its Internet of Things (IoT) platform to deliver payment options.


The collaboration focuses on the retail segment, with plans to expand to other markets, the companies said in an announcement that was made at CES in Las Vegas.

In the statement, Wirecard said that collaborating with Sprint is a "tremendous opportunity" to expand its reach, and to meet growing demand for cross-border transactions.
