Metro: EP Global Commerce maintains offer
(CercleFinance.com) - EP Global Commerce, a holding company that partly belongs to Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky (53% stake), yesterday announced that it is maintaining the terms of its tender offer at 16 euros per ordinary Metro share, without raising it, which values the German distributor at 5.
8 billion euros.
The period of EP Global Commerce's tender offer will end at close of business tomorrow, Wednesday 7 August. Remember that Metro has rejected this offer.
The threshold for a successful offer remains set at 67.5%, whereas to date, ordinary equity contribution commitments received by EP Global Commerce only cover 34.6% of shares in issue.
