Siemens: $295m contract in US, new partnership
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) will provide services and technologies for building modernization and automation under a $295 million IDIQ contract with the US Army Engineering and Support Center.
The contract will increase operational efficiency, safety and security at federal facilities.
The contract is a performance-based Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year period of performance plus two additional option years.
The company has also announced a new partnership with TeamViewer.
Late on Tuesday German remote connectivity software provider TeamViewer announced that it has signed a new partnership with Siemens.
Under the terms of the agreement, TeamViewer will combine the functionality of its enterprise augmented reality platform Frontline with Teamcenter, a product lifecycle management (PLM) software developed by Siemens.
Closing down 1.5% yesterday, the share didn't seem to integrate this news, however.
