Siemens: plans Siemens Healthineers IPO in first half 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens said on Monday that its healthcare unit Siemens Healthineers was ready for its market debut in Frankfurt, despite recent market turbulence.


The German conglomerate plans for the IPO to be completed in the first half of calendar year 2018, subject to capital market conditions.

Siemens said it aims to float of a "meaningful minority share" of the business, while retaining a long-term majority stake.

Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan have been appointed as lead banks of the planned transaction.
