SAP: raises dividend 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - German business software maker SAP said on Thursday that it will raise its dividend by 7%.


The supervisory board of the Walldorf-based company has decided to recommend that shareholders approve a dividend of 1.50 euro per share for the fiscal year 2018, up from last year's 1.40 euro.

If shareholders approve the dividend, the total dividend payout amount will be approximately 1.8 billion euros, SAP said, which represents a pay-out ratio of 44%.

The 2018 dividend is scheduled to be paid on around 20 May.
