Daimler: Oddo neutral after an unflashy publication

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday an analyst at Oddo BHF confirmed a "neutral" rating on the Daimler group share, after the car maker's unflashy publication, albeit accompanied with a sound delivery from management.


Thus, the broker retains an undeniably proactive approach, which partly offsets an almost equal lack of visibility, in a difficult environment. It says that fears over the dividend were justified. Analysts retain 2020 prospects that have been confirmed within the divisions... although there is still a lack of clarity regarding FCF and the group's dividend in 2020 and thereafter, they note.

The analyst confirms a target price of 46 euros for the share, meaning upside potential that is limited to 8%.
