Deutsche Telekom: earnings outperform expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - The group's total revenue rose 7.
7% in FY 2021 to 108.8 billion euros, with service revenues increasing 6.5% to 84.1 billion euros.

Adjusted EBITDA increased 6.6% y-o-y to 37.3 billion euros. AT constant exchange rates, this reached 38.2 billion euros, therefore exceeding its adjusted EBITDA forecast, which was raised in November.

For the current financial year, the Group expects FCF of around 10 billion euros, with adjusted EBITDA expected to reach 36.5 billion euros.

Adjusted EPS is expected to exceed 1.25 euro in 2022, up from 1.22 euro in 2021. Deutsche Telekom also confirmed its target of at least 1.75 euro for 2024.

The share is currently underperforming the German market by about 1%, down over 4.5% in mid-morning trading today.
