Deutsche Post DHL: shares slip on cautious guidance

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Post DHL said it met its operating profit guidance in 2017, with EBIT increasing by 7.
2% to 3.74 billion euros.

As a reminder, the German postal and logistics group was aiming at full-year earnings of "around 3.75 billion euros."

Some analysts said 2017 performance was "in-line" but that 2018 guidance was "a little cautious."

For 2018, Deutsche Post DHL Group forecasts EBIT that will increase to approximately 4.15 billion euros.

As a result, the shares were down 1.1% at 36.2 euros this morning after the results.
