Continental: changes to executive board

(CercleFinance.com) - Following its profit warning on 22 August, German auto parts maker Continental has finally announced a recomposition of its executive board.


While the board has appointed CEO Elmar Degenhart for a further five years, until 2024, José Avila - who was in charge of Continental's powertrain business - will leave the executive Board as of 30 September 2018, taking on a strategic advisory role.

Andreas Wolf will assume responsibility for operations in the Powertrain division, together with a new management team, on 1 October 2018, Conti said.
