BMW: brings younger members onto management team

(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group said on Wednesday that it is bringing younger members onto its management team with the appointment of Ilka Horstmeier and Milan Nedeljkovic, both aged 50, as new board members.

Effective as of 1 October, Nedeljkovic will assume responsibility for the German carmaker's production unit, taking over from Oliver Zipse, who was appointed CEO in August. Nedeljkovic has been with the group since 1993 and currently heads the corporate quality division.

As of 1 November, Horstmeier will succeed Milagros Caiña-Andree as head of the human resources division. He has worked for BMW since 1995 and is currently managing director of the Dingolfing plant.
