Deutsche Bank: 2022 net income soars to E5bn

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Bank has reported a net income, group share of 5 billion euros for FY 2022, up 159% compared to 2021 (E1.
94bn).

Net revenues rose 7% year-on-year to 27.2 billion euros, with growth across all business lines, particularly double-digit growth in Corporate Banking (+23%) and Private Banking (+11%).

By refocusing its activities around our core strengths, the group says it has become significantly more profitable, management says, demonstrating this by delivering its best results in fifteen years.

It adds that it is well equipped to deliver sustainable growth and returns to shareholders in the years to come.
