Swiss Re: to launch home insurance with Ikea

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss reinsurer Swiss Re said on Tuesday that it is teaming up with Sweden's Ikea to launch a home insurance offering providing "easily accessible protection" at an "affordable" price.


The so-called "Hemsaker" tailored home insurance can be purchased online via the Ikea website in a matter of minutes, with a few clicks on any digital device.

The product - which combines Swiss Re's iptiQ digital platform iptiQ with Ikea' customer access - is first being introduced in Switzerland and Singapore.
