Julius Baer: to keep Italian unit after strategic review

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss private bank Julius Baer said that it has decided to keep its Italian asset and wealth management unit Kairos after reviewing its strategic options for the firm.


Kairos offers significant potential for Julius Baer to strengthen its position in the attractive Italian wealth management market, the group said.

After a difficult year in 2018, Kairos fund performance has markedly improved in the first half of 2019, the Swiss bank also noted.
