Nestlé: buys a drug from Allergan

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has announced signing an agreement with Allergan to buy Zenpep, a gastro-intestinal drug intended for people with digestive difficulties linked to an insufficient production of enzymes by the pancreas.


Available in the United States, Zenpep's net sales reached 237 million dollars in 2018. The terms of this transaction, which is expected to be finalised after the merger between Allergan and AbbVie, were not disclosed.
