Logitech: second-quarter profit slightly higher

(CercleFinance.com) - Logitech International, the world's largest computer mouse maker, reported a slightly higher quarterly profit and confirmed its full-year outlook.


The Lausanne-based company, which makes speakers, keyboards and gaming accessories as well, called its fiscal second quarter "solid".

Non-GAAP operating income rose by 6% to 89 million dollars, or 0.50 dollar per share, compared to 0.49 dollar in the same quarter a year ago.

Quarterly sales reached 720 million dollars, up 4% in US dollars and up 6% at constant currencies.

Logitech said it expected mid-to-high single-digit sales growth at constant currencies for the current fiscal year, and 375 million dollars to 385 million dollars in non-GAAP operating income.

The Zurich-listed shares were down 0.6% in early morning trading after this report.
