Logitech: launches new cases for seventh-generation iPad

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss computer mouse maker Logitech has unveiled new keyboard cases for the next generation iPad, which Apple presented at its special event in California yesterday.


Logitech said it has launched the "Rugged Folio" - a new slim keyboard for everyday on-the-go use with military-grade drop protection - and the "Slim Folio", a best-selling keyboard case offering laptop-like typing.

The "Rugged Folio" model is due to be available from October at a price of 139.99 dollars, while the "Slim Folio" is expected to be available from November for 99.99 dollars.

The computer accessories maker also announced the "Rugged Combo 3", a secure case for the new iPad that protects it against drops, spills and scratches.

The case - which proves to be particularly useful in schools - will be sold from October in the US and Canada for 99.99 dollars.
