ABB: develops optimised charging for EU project

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces that its E-mobility division is co-developing an optimised charging solution for electric trucks as part of an EU project called NextETRUCK.


NextETRUCK develops concepts suitable for regional freight transport, with at least a 10% increase in energy efficiency compared to existing top-of-the-range reference electric vehicles, ABB says.

ABB E-mobility will co-ordinate the charging management for the NextETRUCK project, providing solutions that will optimise the charging processes for better integration into vehicle operations at a lower cost.
