ABB: highlights electric vehicles and AI at trade fair

(CercleFinance.com) - At the world's biggest industrial trade fair starting today, Swiss engineering firm ABB will showcase its fast chargers for electric vehicles, as well as robots based on artificial intelligence (AI) for industrial automation.


At Hannover Messe, ABB will showcase its Terra HP family of fast chargers for electric vehicles that can add up to 300 km's range to an electric vehicle in just 12 minutes.

The company highlights its expertise in robots and algorithms that take on more of the routine tasks that can be, and will be, automated, including a collaborative dual-armed robot and a submersible transformer inspection robot, which makes it possible to inspect transformers without draining their oil.
