ABB: three new directors to be appointed in 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss engineering group ABB has nominated three new candidates for seats on the board of directors, which would increase the number of board members from 10 to 11.


After a "careful" selection process, ABB has chosen Jennifer Xin-Zhe Li, former CFO of China's Baidu, Geraldine Matchett, CFO of Dutch speciality chemicals firm DSM, and Gunnar Brock, the former CEO of Swedish machinery group Atlas Copco.

The appointments come after Ying Yeh and Louis Hughes have decided not to seek another term.

The shareholders will vote on the candidates at the next AGM in March 2018.
