LafargeHolcim: partnership in carbon capture with Schlumberg
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim and Schlumberger New Energy will explore the development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions, in particular within two LafargeHolcim cement plants, based in Europe and North America.
Both partners will particularly use Schlumberger's carbon capture technologies. This collaboration could be the first step in the larger scale deployment of carbon capture and storage solutions in the process industries sector, Schlumberger says.
