LafargeHolcim: acquisition in ready-mix concrete

(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim announced on Thursday that it has acquired Metro Mix, one of the main suppliers of ready-mix concrete in the Denver region, Colorado, in the US.


Metro Mix operates two ready-mix concrete plants and made net sales of about 30 million dollars in 2017.

Jan Jenisch, LafargeHolcim's CEO said, "This is our fourth acquisition this year in line with our Strategy 2022 - 'Building for Growth'. Metro Mix' operations are highly complementary to our existing footprint and will allow us to gain a larger share in a growing market with immediate commercial and operational synergies."
