Clariant: Stifel reduces its price target

(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel maintains its Hold recommendation but lowers its price target from CHF 20 to CHF 18 on the Clariant share, citing a higher WACC.


“Q3-22 EBITDA should be up +15% y/y with limited impact from the macro slowdown but affected by FX headwind” Stifel says.

Its EBITDA forecast for 2022 is +21% year on year, representing a slight increase.

“Clariant is the only diversified chemical company, where we do not see the need to cut our 2023 forecast. We expect a modest EBITDA decline of just -4% y/y”, Stifel adds.
