Clariant: shareholders approve dividend, amongst other items

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss chemical firm Clariant's shareholders have approved a higher dividend of 0.
50 Swiss franc from 2017 profits at the group's general shareholder meeting on Monday.

At today's meeting in Basel, shareholders approved all items and resolutions proposed by the board of directors, it said, and reelected all board members.

Compensation plans for 2017 were also approved on an advisory basis, with 86.1% of the votes, the company said.

The meeting was attended by 494 shareholders and shareholder representatives accounting for around 45.4% of the share capital, Clariant said.
