Adecco: shareholders elect Deslarzes to head board

(CercleFinance.com) - Shareholders of Swiss staffing group Adecco on Thursday elected HR expert Jean-Christophe Deslarzes as board chairman.


A former executive at French retail giant Carrefour, Deslarzes was the chief human resources officer of Swiss engineering firm ABB between 2013 and 2019.

At Adecco, he replaces Rolf Dörig, who did not stand for re-election after over 10 years as chairman.

All other members of the board that stood for re-election were confirmed, Adecco said.

Following proxy advisors' recommendations against Rachel Duan's election due to "overboarding," the proposal to elect her as a member of the board was removed.
