Credit Suisse: significant loss expected in Q4

(CercleFinance.com) - In a trading update, Credit Suisse confirmed that it expects its Investment Bank and the group as a whole to report a substantial pre-tax loss in Q4 2022, which could reach around 1.
5 billion Swiss francs for the group.

The company warned that its actual results will depend on a number of factors, including Investment Bank's performance for the remainder of the quarter, the exit from non-strategic positions, any goodwill impairment and certain other actions.

The Swiss banking group also confirms that it is targeting a pre-Basel III CET1 ratio for 2025 of over 13.5%, while planning to maintain it at at least 13% throughout the 2023-2025 transformation period.
