Credit Suisse: unveils strategic direction

(CercleFinance.com) - Following a comprehensive strategy review, Credit Suisse today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously defined the Group's long-term strategic direction through a three-year plan.


Over the next three years, the bank aims to generate sustainable growth and economic profit driven by three key pillars.

First, the bank aims to strengthen its core business by deploying approximately 3 billion Swiss francs of capital to the Wealth Management division by 2024.

Credit Suisse also wants to simplify its operating model with a clearer matrix organisation.

Finally, the company plans to invest for growth with incremental investments increasing progressively from 2022 to 2024 (between 1 billion and 1.5 billion Swiss francs in these four divisions).
