Roche: completes Alzheimer's disease drug trial recruitment

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche partner AC Immune has completed the enrolment of patients for a Phase-3 trial that intends to evaluate the characteristics of an antibody for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, it said on Tuesday.


The trial is evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of crenezumab in 750 participants with mild Alzheimer's disease.

The antibody was discovered by AC Immune in 2006 as a potential therapy for Alzheimer's disease.
