Novartis: names ex-Siemens exec chief compliance officer
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Swiss drugmaker Novartis named Klaus Moosmayer, a former executive at German industrial giant Siemens, as its chief ethics risk and compliance officer.
Moosmayer - who will report to CEO of Novartis Vas Narasimhan and will become a member of the executive committee - will join the company on 1 December, it said.
He succeeds Shannon Thyme Klinger, who was recently appointed general counsel.
Moosmayer, who has been Siemens' chief compliance officer since 2014, formerly chaired the anti-corruption taskforce of the business and industry advisory committee at the OECD.
