Bombardier: preliminary results for FY 2019
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier has announced preliminary results for Q4 and FY 2019.
The company now forecasts lower-than-expected financial results, mainly due to actions taken to complete turnaround rail projects, the timing of its milestone payments and new Transport orders, as well as the postponement of the delivery of four Global 7500 aircraft in Q1 2020. The group expects 15.8 billion dollars in revenue in 2019, including 4.2 billion dollars in Q4 2019. Over the quarter, deliveries of its Aviation business were solid, with 58 aircraft in the Q4 for a total of 175 aircraft for the full year. This included 11 Global 7500 aircraft.
