GIMV: takes stake in Germany's Klotter
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment group Gimv announced on Monday that it has taken a minority stake in Klotter, a German company that operates in electrical engineering, a market that it describes as still highly fragmented.
Founded in Rheinau in 1997 by Werner Klotter and Roswitha Wiegert-Klotter, the company offers maintenance services for transformer stations, industrial automation, switchboards and building technology.
Klotter currently has about 60 employees.
Gimv says that the investment - its sixth since the beginning of the year - is part of its "sustainable cities" program strategy. Its financial terms were not disclosed.
