Solvay: participates in Apple's clean energy program

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay announces its participation in Apple's Supplier Clean Energy Program, an essential part of Apple's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality for its entire supply chain and products by 2030.


As part of this effort, 71 of Apple's suppliers, including the Belgian chemical group, have all committed to producing Apple components worldwide with 100% clean energy.

Solvay has therefore decided to join the China Clean Energy Fund, an initiative bringing together Apple's top ten suppliers in China in a fund of several hundred million dollars to invest locally in renewable energies.
