Solvay: increases production in United States

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay is expanding its thermoplastic composite capabilities, with a new production line at its US facility in Anaheim, California.


This increase will help meet the strong growth in demand from aerospace cusomers.

Solvay will have quadrupled its capacity since 2016, with the commissioning of this new line of ribbons and the modernisation of existing lines.

Solvay will have quadrupled its qualified capacity by four since 2016, with the commissioning of this new tape line and upgrades to existing lines.

"Their strong demand shows they value how our materials reduce manufacturing time and cost, helping to raise the build rate of aircraft," said Augusto Di Donfrancesco, Member of Solvay's Executive Committee.
