Schlumberger: CFO to step down in early 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - Oilfield services company Schlumberger said on Tuesday that its CFO will step down in early 2020, to be replaced by the current vice president in charge of finance.


Simon Ayat, who joined the company in 1982, will transfer CFO responsibilities to Stephane Biguet who in his 24-year career with Schlumberger has held positions in finance and operations at the field and headquarters levels.

Ayat will remain with Schlumberger as senior strategic advisor to the company's CEO Olivier Le Peuch for a period of two years, the group said.
