Siemens: wind power unit wins contract extension in UK.

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has won a significant service extension contract for a wind farm in the UK, Siemens's new wind power unit said on Friday.


The renewable energy division has expanded its contract with the Greater Gabbard wind farm, located off the east coast of the UK.

The five-year contract is for the operation and provision of maintenance services for the wind farm until 2022.
