Yum! Brands: Q4 below consensus
(CercleFinance.com) - Yum! Brands has announced Q4 2018 EPS excluding extraordinary items that is down 58% to 40 cents, significantly missing the consensus, which was expecting just under one dollar.
The catering group, which operating fast food outlets such as KFC, Pizza
Hut and Taco Bell, saw its adjusted operating profit increase by 5%, for
sales that are up 6%, excluding currency effects (+3% at constant
stores).
CEO Greg Creed said that the group opened a record eight restaurants per
day worldwide in 2018. The group is on track with its strategic
transformation to accelerate growth.
