Yum! Brands: beats consensus in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Yum! Brands, the catering group whose brands include KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, has announced Q1 EPS, excluding extraordinary items, that is up 38% at 90 cents, exceeding the consensus by 22 cents.
Adjusted operating profit remained stable, with sales growth of 4% excluding FX factors, with a 3% increase in the number of restaurants and a 1% increase in same-store sales.
CEO Greg Creed said that the group is maintaining all of its 2018 annual targets and believes that its ongoing transformation is laying a solid foundation for long-term growth.
