Walgreens: solid end to fiscal year.
(CercleFinance.com) - Before Wall Street opened on Wednesday Walgreens reported EPS of 76 cents over the last quarter of its fiscal year, down 19 cents y-o-y.
Excluding extraordinary items, the US pharmaceutical giant's EPS reached 1.31 dollar, well above the consensus of 1.21 dollar.
Meanwhile, revenues grew by more than expected to 30.1 billion dollars, against 28.6 billion dollars in the final quarter of the last fiscal year ended, and the consensus of 29.9 billion.
