Visa: to partner with gaming firm for payments in Asia
(CercleFinance.com) - Visa will partner with Hong-Kong based gaming firm Razer to provide micro-financial services in Southeast Asia, the US credit card giant said on Monday.
The partnership will see Razer's financial technology arm, Razer Fintech, join Visa's program, with both companies developing a virtual Visa prepaid solution to be embedded in the Razer Pay e-wallet, that will enable up to 60 million Razer users to make payments with Visa.
Visa said Southeast Asia has a large unbanked and underserved population of over 438 million people.
