Visa: beats consensus in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Visa has reported Q1 adjusted net income that is up 17% at 3 billion dollars.
At 1.30 dollar, the corresponding EPS came in five cents above the consensus.
Revenues increased by 13% to 5.5 billion dollars, supported by an 11%growth in payment volumes, cross-border volumes that are up 7% and an 11% increase in transactions processed at constant dollars.
CEO Alfred F. Kelly said that the company has reported solid performance in an uncertain geopolitical environment, continuing saying that for 2019, the group remains focused on its strategy to expand its offer for payments.
