Visa: buys UK-based partner Fraedom
(CercleFinance.com) - Visa said on Friday that it will buy the UK-based Fraedom, a software-as-a-service technology company which has been a partner for nearly ten years.
The credit card giant said that the acquisition will strengthen its suite of solutions to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the B2B payments industry.
Fraedom provides payments and transaction management solutions for financial institutions and their corporate customers.
The transaction, the terms of which have not been disclosed, is expected to close in first-quarter 2018.
