Verizon: adjusted Q4 EPS flat
(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon Communications has reported Q4 2017 EPS of 4.
56 dollars, which has more than quadrupled y-o-y (1.10 dollar a year ago). However, excluding extraordinary items, EPS remained flat at 86 cents.
The telecom operator posted an adjusted EBITDA margin that was down almost 10 points at 27.2%, for 34 billion dollars in operating revenue, up 5% and a net gain of 1.2 million post-paid connections in its mobile division.
Verizon announced adjusted EPS that was down slightly (-3% at 3.74 dollars) over FY 2017, although expects this to grow at a low single-digit range over the current fiscal year.
